Hi, I’m Chance.

I’ve been employed in the food industry for 20 plus years and still enjoy it immensely. I have held just about every back of the house position in a restaurant from dishwasher to Executive Chef. ┬áMy goal with this blog is to be able to share some of the secrets I picked up in those years. My focus is going to be on recipes that I think are exemplary as well as trying out new ideas and recipes so that I can continue to expand my culinary repertoire. Above all, I hope that my ┬ápassion for food comes across in a fun and exciting way.

I live in the Dallas area with my beautiful wife (The Girl), two wonderful and energetic children, our graying and grumpy mini dachshund Annabelle, and a handful of fish.
